SAN JOSE, Calif – (May 19 2009) – GLOBAL VR today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with one of the kiosk industries preeminent turn-key design/manufacturing companies, Streak Technology, Inc..
Founded in 1994 by Robert (Bob) Stewart, former Vice President of Operations for Atari Games, Streak Technology Inc. quickly became the standard bearer of quality and professionalism in the emerging kiosk industry. Under Bob’s direction, Streak quickly became a multi-million dollar company employing over 40 people. Over the past 15 years, Streak Technology, Inc. has developed strong relationships with many companies by providing turn-key manufacturing services. The company has built over 50,000 amusement devices and kiosks. Streak Technology, Inc. was responsible for the design and manufacturing of products such as Tickets.com a product which allows users to pick an event, choose a seat and receive the printed ticket, Build A Bear Vending, Streak Model 700, a multi-purpose Internet access device, and designed and built over 8,000 Polaroid Photo booths.
