QA Game Tester (temporary)
Job Description:
This person will be responsible for executing test cases and isolating / reporting defects. The right person is a highly motivated, focused person who can maintain a positive attitude under periods of high-stress.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute Black Box test cases thoroughly and meticulously
Report defects to high standards of organization and communication
Isolate defects to root cause
Take direction from QA Lead
Work closely with QA and Development teams
Willing to work overtime according to the project needs (including evenings and weekends)
Provide feedback on depth / breadth of test documents
Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High energy
Motivated, over-achiever
Attention to detail, highly focused
Avid gamer
Responsible and dependable
Quick learner
Strong bug isolation techniques
Prior arcade experience a plus
Prior PC experience a plus
Prior sports game testing a plus
Prior QA Lead experience a plus
Prior work experience with defect tracking system a plus
Able to provide:
Three references from prior work experiences, preferably direct manager.
List of game titles that you have played / worked on previously.
